A draft of the Digital Industries Acceleration Strategy is now available for public consultation, inviting feedback from stakeholders on how best to support the digital transformation of Western Australian businesses. The strategy, titled WA: Digitally Evolved, aims to create a digitally empowered economy by fostering growth in digital industries, digital government, and digital society.
Research has shown that businesses highly engaged with digital tools generate 60% more revenue per employee and are expected to grow 28% faster than those with low digital engagement. By providing a clear roadmap for digital acceleration, the strategy focuses on helping local businesses thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
The draft strategy is open for public feedback until May 10, 2024, allowing businesses and other stakeholders to share their insights and suggestions. The final version of the strategy will be launched later in the year.
