New Fund Opens to Support Innovative Manufacturing Adoption

Applications are now open for Stage 1 of the NSW Innovative Manufacturing Adoption Fund, a $6 million initiative designed to help manufacturers adopt advanced technologies and improve productivity. The first stage offers competitive grants between $10,000 and $50,000 for feasibility studies, business case development, pilot projects, and equipment assessments. Applications close on October 6, 2026.

Stage 2, scheduled to open in early 2027, will provide $5 million in funding to support the implementation of new technologies and scaling of operations. The fund is available to manufacturers across various sectors, including construction, clean energy, transport, defence, aerospace, and health technology. This initiative aligns with broader strategies to strengthen local manufacturing capability, supply chains, and high-value industries within the state economy.
