Eleven organisations across Queensland will receive more than $270,000 in funding to deliver innovation events that support new ideas, emerging technologies, and industry connections.
The funding comes through the Innovation Events Fund, which will provide a total of $270,445 to support events focused on innovation and technology development across the state.
The funded events include conferences, summits, hackathons, and showcases. They will help innovators build skills, expand networks, and connect with investors, businesses, and community groups.
The program aims to support collaboration, encourage investment, and help turn new ideas into practical solutions that can benefit communities and industries across Queensland.
Supported events include a deep technology investment summit on the Sunshine Coast, a defence technology hackathon in Brisbane, an agricultural technology showcase in Bundaberg, a tourism innovation summit in the Torres Strait, and youth entrepreneurship programs in several regions.
The funding will help Queensland innovators develop new products, create business opportunities, and support future economic growth.
