Extended hours for Inner West Light Rail

From Monday 29 April, passengers travelling on the L1 Dulwich Hill line will benefit from extended operating hours, with services now available from 5am to 1am, seven days a week.

These enhancements will add an additional 160 services per week to the timetable, catering for both early risers and late night travellers through the Inner West and CBD.

Services will run every 15 minutes from 5am to 6am each morning and from 11pm to 1am each night, providing convenient travel options for commuters and night owls alike.

This initiative underlines the NSW Government's commitment to boosting the night-time economy while improving transport accessibility in Sydney.

These extended hours complement recent service enhancements, which will add a total of 450 additional services per week on the Inner West Light Rail (L1) from June 2023.

This permanent timetable adjustment also aligns L1 service hours with L2 and L3 lines, providing a consistent service across Sydney's light rail network and broader public transport system.
