NSW Opens Second Round of MVP Ventures Program for Startups

Startups and entrepreneurs in NSW can now apply for the second round of the 2025-26 Minimum Viable Product (MVP) Ventures Program. The program provides grants to help founders take their ideas from concept to market.

A total of $3 million in funding is available this financial year through two streams. Stream One is open to all eligible businesses, offering up to $50,000 with a 50% minimum co-contribution. Stream Two is for women-owned businesses, regional businesses, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses. It offers up to $75,000 with a 25% minimum co-contribution.

Applications are assessed through a competitive process. Funding is awarded to projects that show strong innovation, commercial potential, and alignment with NSW industry priorities. The program aims to provide more support for founders from diverse backgrounds.

The first round of the 2025-26 MVP Ventures Program received 309 applications, with 88 progressing to assessment. Successful applicants are expected to be announced early next year.

Round two opens on 24 November and closes on 21 December 2025. Round three will open next year.
