Leading the way to net zero: industry conference on climate change

Businesses across South Australia are invited to participate in the inaugural Industry Climate Change Conference, which will explore strategies to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions.

The conference, scheduled for 20-21 April 2023, is part of an effort to accelerate climate action in line with the State's sustainability goals.

Attendees will participate in presentations and workshops on various aspects of transitioning to a net-zero emissions future, addressing both opportunities and challenges.

This conference, hosted by the Conservation Council of SA, is part of a broader series of community climate conversations in 2023 to foster a shared understanding of emissions reduction priorities.

In addition, the National Climate Adaptation Conference in July will provide a platform to share ideas and address the challenges of adapting to climate change.

In line with the State Government's commitments, including a 50% reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and 100% net renewable energy generation by 2030, this conference aims to mobilise businesses to adopt sustainable practices.

Businesses interested in attending can register at www.climate23.com.au.
