Margaret River has officially joined the growing WA EV Network, which is on track to become the world's most extensive EV (electric vehicle) charging infrastructure.
The Wallcliffe Road site features a state-of-the-art 150kW fast charger capable of fully charging an EV in approximately 20 minutes, complemented by a secondary 75kW charger for added convenience.
This new addition forms a vital link in the WA EV Network corridor, seamlessly connecting Margaret River to Jerramungup.
With the completion of the Margaret River station, there are now 29 operational EV sites along the network, with the 30th charger due to come online in Bunbury next month.
The network, which is expected to be completed by mid-2024, will include 49 EV charging stations strategically located at intervals of less than 200 kilometres.
The network rollout is being led by Synergy and Horizon Power. For more information, please visit: https://synergy.net.au/evnetwork
