$750,000 Investment Launches AI Uplift Program for Manufacturers

A $750,000 investment has been allocated to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) among Queensland manufacturers. The Manufacturing AI Uplift trial program, delivered through the ARM Hub, aims to help eligible businesses implement AI solutions that enhance productivity, competitiveness, and workforce capabilities.

Expressions of interest are currently open for manufacturers across the state, including those in regional areas. The program provides practical support to identify specific applications for AI that deliver measurable business value, addressing common challenges related to implementation and integration.

Professor Cori Stewart, CEO of ARM Hub, stated that while many manufacturers recognize the potential of AI, they often lack guidance on where to begin. The program seeks to bridge this gap by working directly with businesses to apply technology effectively. This initiative coincides with Queensland Manufacturing Month, which highlights innovation within the sector.
